"Let Me In" is a game that sets an intense atmosphere right from the start, but honestly, the music in the menu and throughout the game was a serious earrape. I was hit with it straight away! As soon as I entered the game, the sound was so loud and grating that it actually scared me before I even had a chance to understand what was going on.
As for the story, I found it pretty interesting and well-written. However, I'm not the biggest fan of reading, especially in English, so it felt more like a reading experience than a game. I would have liked an option to listen to the story or at least have more interactive dialogues.
Also, without giving any spoilers, there’s a part involving a mother and her child that’s kind of unsettling. It’s a bit weird and might make you feel uncomfortable, but the game doesn't really dive into that aspect deeply, so you're left with more questions than answers.
Despite the loud music and the somewhat puzzling story element, the game is solid in the indie horror category. If you enjoy tense atmospheres and don’t mind a lot of reading, you might find it intriguing. But if you don’t want to wreck your ears, definitely turn the volume down in the menu! 😅
I loved the multiple ends, but the last one we got sent shivers down my spine. Is it really sometimes better to just forget?

This game was wildly creepy! I even love the main ending and how left me feeling empty after I "gave the gift". Great work!
